Bananas and strawberries are two particularly egregious fruits, as one can't even make alcohol out of them.

Bananas and strawberries contain natural sugars so you can technically use yeast to make ethanol from them.  Even if roughly 100g of fruit only yields 3-5g of sugar.

Oh, come on, that's an useless technicality. It's like that oil in deep-water fields that can't actually be tapped. Who drills bananas or strawberries? Nobody. And what would be the taste? I've never tried an ethanol cocktail, but I doubt I'd like it. Strawberry liquor? Please. Bananas and strawberries just don't fill tanks, that's the sad truth.

An outstanding comeback by the Strawberry!  Not bad for a fruit that's really just an Accessory Fruit.  That's right folks the seed of the strawberry is the actual fruit (not the juicy red part).  Imposter I tell you.

If we're talking fresh fruit, then I'll have to go with bananas since I'm allergic to fresh strawberries. But strawberry flavor > banana flavor.

People (Roy Hobbs)  , this is not a beauty contest, and it is what's inside that counts more. Bananas are great for athletes, stop them from cramping, provides good energy and overall better for the body. C'on vote for bananas people!!! LOL!!

No, I revived the battle - it's just that I never knew when one peels back the skin of a banana that there was a bottle of beer under there.  That made it a no brainer for me in switching my vote.
