"I hit him on the BlackBerry all the way through the playoffs. There's a big trail of e-mails that we have where I'm almost like a coach on the sidelines for him 'cause...that's my little brother! I'm giving him advice, even outside of 'Take the ball to the elbow and shoot.' The psychology of what's going on: That's my role in his life."
-Part owner of the Nets,Jay-Z referring to his relationship with Lebron.

Your right, that story wreaks of tampering. Hopefully the Nets lose a first round pick and $500,000.

Problem is it can't really be proven. Not like there's a paper trail or anything ;)

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I think that so long as he doesn't talk to Lebron about joining the Nets, there's no tampering.  I don't think there are any rules about a owner of one team being friends with a player on another.

Of course, I'm sure they've discussed Lebron joining the Nets, but I doubt that can be proven.

  • Hinrich sucks, Deng sucks, Bulls suck, I'm out.
I think Jay Z is a huge tool. It helps that I don't like his rap game either. I don't know, I wish Lebron would just say, "Jay I love ya buddy but you wouldn't know what to do with the rock unless it was made out of crack."

Jay-Z's email pointers are all in code. When he says, "Drive to your right," he's really telling him to drive to Brooklyn. So sneaky. 8)
