So the Cavs just signed Delonte to a multi yr deal today, and while I like Delonte, didn't they just sign Boobie for big bucks this offseason and trade for Mo Williams big contract too? Not sure if you can really play two of these guys at once, so doesn't this seem like an odd spending of resources?

delonte plays the 2 spot fine

and so can't boobie

i'm sure out of these three, 2 of them will spend time on the court together often

How about the fact they still are on the books for Snow and even in a buyout situation will pay most of that?  If Delonte ended up with about as much as Gibson, which I think is a safe assumption, then the 4 point guards on their roster take in $24M this year.  Of course, Mo Williams and/or Delonte will see much time at the 2, but it underlines the Cavs primary problem once again: outside of Lebron, they pay a lot of money for a lot of guys who are not stars. $14.5 for a fading Ben Wallace, $13M for Wally, even $4.5 for Pavlovic is questionable.  Z is probably an ok value at $11M, but he is far from a top shelf player either.

Good points all around. TP. Forgot about Snow. I was only thinking about their other washed up pg (Damon Jones) who was moved in the Mo deal.

While I'm sure that you can play two at a time for stretches, it is not ideal. When Lebron leaves in 2 yrs, the Cavs are going to be bad for a very long time.
