For all of you old enough to remember seeing McHale's clothesline when it happened, there's a good chance you've seen this movie, but my guess is, is that anyone much younger will have missed it.

Being There

Peter Seller's last movie and it's amazing.  Also staring Shirley MacClaine it's about a gentleman named Chance who had never been exposed to the outside world until he was in his 60's and he's thrust out into the real world -- an amazing story that'll leave you laughing and shaking your head.   Go watch it during this election season and you'll like it even more.

2Pac's death anniversary made me think of Gridlock'd with 2Pac & Tim Roth.  There were some great scenes in that movie.  The two of them bounced nicely off each other.  I didn't know 2Pac the rapper that well, but that movie got me pretty excited about 2Pac the actor.

I loved Bulworth. Wag The Dog was a good one also. 

A few more I enjoyed were: 
Arlington Road with Tim Robbins and Jeff Bridges is good one dealing with terrorism.

I loved that movie. For some reason it made me think of the movie Network.
Not sure why, all I know is I'm made as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.

Someone brought up "Fido" a few days ago.  I ended up watching that last night.  I enjoyed it, but in a strange way.  It was always on the edge of being great, but never quite got there.  I think the joy of the movie was in its mixed genres (zombie's and 50's).  Worth checking out anyhow.

One I watched last night is "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints" made in 2006 with Robert Downey Jr, Chazz Palminteri, Shia LaBeouf and others. Set in Queens, New York and based on a true story it has a very realistic feel to it and I was pleasantly surprised.
