How about the best one on one moves/players at each position cause it's hard to have a C go against a PG. One poster is right Shaq should win every time against a guard and that's no fun.
PG. With the way Tony Parker can score around the hoop he has to be right up there. Love Iverson and Paul here as well. For the quickness Rondo has he still has to learn to finish much better around the hoop. Arenas is my sleeper, Billups would be great posting up other PGs however when it's all said and done my somewhat surprising pick if his game is clicking on all cylinders with his combined speed, height, power, and craftiness for a PG is Baron Davis.
SG I can't believe I have back to back Spurs in my discussion but Manu is just filthy around the hoop improvising with his left hand. Can't forget about him. Vinsanity would still be fun to watch. TMac is right up there, Wade, even Ray Ray with his underrated dribbling ability, sleeper in Joe Johnson but in end it's all Kobe.
SF Our own PP has all the moves, headfakes, great footwork, loves to post, loves to slash, loves to shoot the J. Paul can do it all one on one however Lebron's supreme athleticism is just too much to not put #1 here. Butler, Artest, and Melo get some love here as well.
PF Big Al derserves to be in the disussion and don't laugh cause he is not a good team player by any stretch of the imagination but Zach Randolph has some skills in the post. Bosh, KG, Gasol, Boozer, Wallace, Beasley, Amare, Dirk, David West lots of good one on one PFs but come on now Tim Duncan is the modern day poster child for fundamental post player. Nobody is stopping him one on one.
C 2 years ago I would have said Shaq but Yao Ming has surpassed him in purely going one on one. Howard mostly brings the brute strength and athleticism and my sleeper here is Big Z. The rest are pretenders but Oden and Bynum bring promise.
