no love for the Blueprint?

I like Reasonable Doubt better too, but I'm surprised to not even see a mention.

Kind of weird that no one mentioned
Run-DMC...?
I'm not particularly into them but
I do know they have made quite a few
great albums. Hmmm... Weird.

JR, I must also recommend
Gang Starr: Step in the Arena!

Keep in mind that I don't have a lot of rap on my Ipod...I'm not the biggest rap fan but I do like some.

My favorite albums would have to be...

The only Blackstar album
Jay-Z: Blueprint
Lupe Fiasco: The Cool
Cypress Hill: Skulls & Bones
Wyclef Jean: The Carnival
Eminem: The Slim Shady LP

That's in no particular order

LOL you right, I'm a east coast dude more into the east coast rap. I though Tupac's ablums I can relate to the most so I had to mention them

As for the Chronic by Dr. Dre, I like that album BUT it isn't something I can listen 2 day in and out like those albums I mention lol

Kanye West - Graduation. I like the completeness of it, where I can listen to any track and enjoy it. Most of these hip hop albums are too one hit singles types.

Become Legendary.

The Roots - Do You Want More?!! Anytime, anywhere it soothes my soul.

Also, A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory & Midnight Marauders, Still holds up after 15+ years!!!

...and for extra credit... Black Moon - Enta Da Stage. Buckshot spits hott fire on the whole album!

Yeah, Reks can flow! He's actually a friend of mine from my WERS days at Emerson and his new album "Grey Hairs" is on Brick Records, a Boston based underground Hip-Hop label. His new album is available on now iTunes ;D Support local Hip-Hop!!!!
