As a 2nd rounder with a 2 yr. contract, I believe that he is a restricted free agent and that other teams are not allowed to offer more than the MLE to him for the first year; subsequent seasons he could be paid a normal max salary. We'd have to pay him out of our MLE to match any such offers, but because of the MLE restriction we'd be guaranteed the ability to match any such offers.
If he gets no other offers, I think that he would be able to use the normal avenues to sign him: MLE, LLE (which I don't think we could use because I believe we used it this year), Minimum Salary or Early Bird Exception (175% of his salary this season (edited)).
We don't have Bird rights because we need 3 seasons for that (Powe the same season as BBD and Pruitt next season will have bird rights).
I think this is one reason (in addition to the fact Powe is just better) if we move one backup PF, all offers being equal, we'd send BBD, since it's harder to keep him than Powe.
That's off the top of my head, I could be wrong.
