  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Well with that said, here's the new Bucks squad:

C-Speights/McDyess/Amstrong
PF-Wilcox/Cook
SF-Anthony/B.Rush/B.Walker
SG-T.Allen/Dah.Jones
PG-Hinrich/Sessions

I tried to put together a squad that would defend out on the perimeter well, cut off penetration and then rebound to ignite the break. Hinrich was 2nd team All Defense the season before last. Tony can defend. Jones can, Rush projects well. Dice is a solid defender in the post. Speights projects well as a rebounder and shot-blocker as does Armstrong. Our offense will take care of itself with Anthony and Hinrich at the center along with Speights' potential in the post.

Comments or critiques anyone? What can I improve?

I think you're really overrating Speights. He was projected as a project player this draft and if thats the case, you'll be starting mcdyess from day 1, which may not be all bad.

I think it will be maybe 3 years before this kid blows up but he has considerable skills already. He dominated at the Vegas Summer League which is not easy for a C/PF to do in a guard oriented league. He shows great back to the basket ability. He's got great hands. He's money from 15-18. Is he a work in progress? Absolutely. But after what I've seen I don't think I'm overrating him that much. This kid's a star in waiting. This team was built as a team for the future.

Question is, is the mascot chewing gum with a dopey look on its face?

If so, yep, that's Mark Blount.

Here are your Atlanta Hawks through 12 rounds (rotation players in bold, long-term projects in italics):

PG: Rajon Rondo/Acie Law/Petteri Koponen
SG: Michael Redd/Thabo Sefolosha
SF: Luol Deng/Jarvis Hayes/Adam Morrison
PF: Al Harrington/Darius Songaila/Sean May
C: Jermaine O'Neal/Jamaal Magloire/Josh McRoberts/Kyrylo Fesenko

I have two remaining picks, but I currently have 15 players on my roster, assuming both Koponen and Fesenko don't play overseas next year. I plan to tinker with this lineup a bit, but do not foresee any major overhauls.

That said, very few of my players are considered untouchable (Rondo and Deng are off limits). Almost anyone could be had for a price, provided I like what you have to offer.

The San Antonio Spurs

PG - Chris Paul, Steve Francis (on trading block)
SG - Jerry Stackhouse, Courtney Lee, Gerald Green (on trading block)
SF - Peja Stojakovic, Travis Outlaw
PF - Jason Thompson, Kenny Thomas (on trading block), Darrell Arthur
C - Ben Wallace, DeAndre Jordan

Obviously, not a playoff team, but still working on it. This will not be my roster when we're all done with this draft.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

The Portland Trailblazers:

C: Horford / Battie / Mourning
PF: Stoudemire / Haslem / B. Wright
SF: Gay / Webster
SG: Iguodala / Mobley / Ross
PG: Ford / Blake / Atkins / Ukic

I tried to mix youth and experience.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
