I have

Mo Williams, Rip Hamilton, Stephen Jackson, Dirk Notwitzki and Anderson Varejao with
Grant Hill, Oberto and Mo Evans coming off the bench.

Would like some feedback.

Good team. To me your squad is very similar to the current irl (in real life) Detroit Pistons.

You have a solid PG (Mo Will), little lesser quality than CB.
Your shooting guard (Rip)is their shooting guard.
Your small forward (Crazy Stephen Jackson) is a slight upgrade over Prince imo. Better scorer little less defense and intangibles.
Your PF (Dirk) is very similar to Rasheed but much more versatile on offense but again you lose out alot in defense here.
Your C (Bob) is a big intangibles guy that hustles and rebounds. He is probably even with McDyess but we all saw how lethal McDyess can be alot this year.

Bench is good but not great. Tough having Hill as your best bench guy when hes probably only going to play 50ish games. I like mo evans but think you need to upgrade from Oberto, he is ok for regular season games but not quite good neough against the upper competition in the playoffs.

Playoff team, could move on depending on the matchup.

In response to the recent, an appreciated, critiques of my line up:

The worry that my team is a bunch of defensive "sieves". I'm not sure why that would be.

Felton: 1.2 S.A.G with 2 fouls a game. His big man (Okafor) only averaged 3 fouls a game which means PG's weren't exactly blowing by Felton

By the last 2 rounds of the playoffs Stuckey had upped his SAG to over 1 from .9 during the regular season. Also only 2 fouls against against elite opposing players.

Marion and Kirilenko (B-Diddy dunk aside) are proven defenders I don't feel like their abilities need to be reiterated to the point of redundancy.

Blatche, I will admit, is a question mark. But at 21 he was averaging 1.4 blocks and 5.5 boards in reserve minutes. So for a big man, he's ahead of the curve.

I think the worries about how I will deal with bigger teams is a legitimate concern. There aren't many dominate big line ups in our league but one of them is in my own conference, the Magic. And that's why I think Charlie Villanueva was such a big pick up for me. One of the things I set out to do with this line up is being able to have versatility in the line up so I'd never be out of the game.

Against the Magic this would probably be my line up:

PG: Stuckey
SG: Marion
SF: Kirilenko
PF: Villanueva
C: Blatche

I would have Stuckey guard AI so Marion doesn't get torched, and those three would cause as much havoc in the backcourt as Duncan and Miller will cause down low. Also, I lose nothing defensively down low, either way my team is outmatched on the block, but I still have two 6-11 guys rebounding with decent athleticism and am wreaking havoc on their backcourt.

I think your team will have issues dealing with the Magic in tour division because you don't have the size to match up.

You still mad because I traded Bosh?  ;) I honestly think we can compete with the Magic, and beat them head to head. I think as much as we'll have trouble dealing with the size in the front court, we're much bigger in the back court and we're much younger and explosive in general. Are we a championship team? No, I don't think we are. But that was out the window within the first couple hours of my being GM.  ;)

in that group id probably start frye over nene. fryes ability to step out and hit the jumper of kickouts or run the pick n pop make him a better option i think. you can always bring nene off the bench as a defender.

Alright, figured it was time to throw it out there.  Obviously, my strategy this year was to go young and build a team that could compete this year but with much greater hope in the future.  Anyways, judge away.  I'll be offline for a bit but will be back on and some point to read critique.

Boston Celtics

PG: Devin Harris
SG: Leandro Barbosa
SF: Danillo Gallinari
PF: Luis Scola
C: Greg Oden

Bench:  Kyle Korver, Andrea Bargnani, Johan Petro, Travis Diener

A little worried about the durability of both Perkins and Roy (who just had his knee scoped today for a meniscus tear, I believe). You've got some flexibility in the frontcourt between Perkins, Nene, and Frye, which is nice. Perkins is definitely your enforcer, but I think you could also field a Nene-Frye frontcourt and not be physically overpowered.

I'm mixed about your backcourt. Roy isn't a point guard, so it's good you have him paired with one, but I hope Conley can develop a shot of his own; otherwise, defenses can overplay Roy. Having Butler ought to help keep the defense honest, though. Overall, I like the starting five, even if it does seem (for some reason I can't put my finger on) an odd collection.

I like both Ariza and Daniels off the bench. I don't know anything about Greene. It's a respectable squad, for sure. I wonder how it matches up against others in your division?

Well with haris and barbosa your backcourt is gonna be lightning quick on the break. It will be interesting to see who runs with them. But I think if there is a kink its that maybe you'd like one more low post offensive presence to go with Oden. I think Oden's defense is going to come quicker than his offense other than dunks right now. Having someone else to take some of the offensive post scoring load would help ease the burden. How is Barbosa's defense? I ask because if it's not that good denying penetration out on the perimeter on defense is gonna be an issue with both him and Gallinari out there on the perimeter and only Korver off the bench. Oden's gonna be a busy man.

All said and done though this is certainly a good start.

Since we're coming up on 2/3 of the draft completed, I'd welcome constructive criticism of my roster. I still have a bunch of late round picks to fill holes or package with players to address glaring needs/weaknesses.

PG: Rajon Rondo
SG: Michael Redd/Thabo Sefolosha
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Al Harrington/Craig Smith
C: Jermaine O'Neal/Jamaal Magloire

If O'Neal can regain his All-Star form, you have a very dangerous team.  But that is a big if.  His backup has been on the really big slide the past 2-3 seasons.
