tmz is reporting that PP was pulled over by cops in LV for erratic driving.  They conducted 3 field soberity tests and he passed all 3.  he wasn't charged or cited and he took a cab home.

at least he didn't do something stupid liking driving drunk.  maybe he was sick and thought better of driving.

but are the C's, and PP, partying too much?

Good thing he passed the sobriety tests, his words almost came back to bite him because he made fun of Melo during the Finals for getting a DUI.

How many of you have drank too much but still think you could pass the field test?  Not a breathalyzer or blood test, but a "field test".  Thought so.

Hey Paul, time to quit partying and telling the world you're the world's best player and start getting ready for next year.  Party's over, get back to work.

Hope there isn't something else wrong with him that is causing him issues with his balance.

Very glad he wasn't drinking and driving.

Paul Pierce needs a timeout, not a 20 second one, but a full timeout !

recent update from tmz:

Now we're learning cops believed Boston Celtic Paul Pierce was under the influence of alcohol after stopping him because they smelled alcohol on his breath.

As we first reported, Pierce was pulled over at 3:30 this morning after he was "driving erratically." Cops now tell us he had made an illegal lane change without signaling in his white BMW when officers in a paddy wagon spotted him.

We're told they smelled "alcohol coming from the car." We're also told the breathalyzer showed Pierce had alcohol in his system but was below .08, which means you're legally drunk in Vegas.

The pic shows Pierce at the scene.

As for why he wasn't cited for an illegal lane change or erratic driving, cops say it was a minor offense so they let him skate.

How many of you actually passed field tests as opposed to just "thinking" you could? Thought so.

The field tests are much more comprehensive than you think.  Especially the eye test, which consists of about 75% of the overall result - and there's very little you can do to cheat that since it's based on involuntary movement.  These are the tests that give them the cause to breathalyze you, essentially the suspicion that you're drunk.

Bottom line, Pierce gave police no motivation to even think he was drunk, or cause for a breathalyzer.  He did nothing wrong here.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Time to stop partying, Paul.  We love you for what you did last year. If you want to do it again, get your butt back in the gym now.  As Tom Brady said (quoting the UM equipment manager), the sweetest championship is the next one!!!

I have a bad feeling Paul is getting a little too rapped up in his own hype. The season could not start quick enough. :-[

Thank you... this tests are literally designed to give a police officer an excuse to perform blood or breath tests.  I can tell you honestly I'm not sure if I would pass them sober, if I was tired or had a cold.
