Remember I am trading 14(16), 14(17), 15(15) for ANY 13th ROUNDER I don't care what pick it is.

Or if you'd prefer the Angry Pickles will offer up 14(5), 14 (23), 15 ( 8 ) for any reasonable facsimile of Kwhit's type deal.  Hell, we'll listen to offers for anything who's breathing for the late picks.

I'm going to be away until later this afternoon. Should be back in time to either make my pick in this round (#21; at 3:10) or to trade it.

With the 6th pick in the 12th round the Memphis Grizzlies belatedly select Goran Dragic.

He's certainly worth a gamble at this point, to see if the Suns know what the heck they're doing.  They seem to be the only team in the league that covets this guy, but they absolutely love him.

Can you confirm that (the breathing)?

It might be nice to reunite Francis and Starbury ::)

Was that the worst of many ill conceived Knickerbocker ideas?

Really Crownsy, Jsaad, et al.... I think Roy & other Mods have asked that this be taken off board or dropped.

It's clear now that we can pick folks w/ overseas contracts but they only count as future assets (BTW, Fred Jones and Gordan Giricek joined the overseas crew this week).

It's a game with no clear winners so.... just have fun with it.

probably, though Jerome James for the full MLE was pretty ill-conceived.

What happened to Steve Francis? I used to really like his game (last year w/ Yao, first year in ORL) but since then its like off a cliff.  He's only 30... did he have knee/injury problems or just head problems, i can't remember.

And, yeah Blount is breathing --- you have to breathe to chew gum so that's how i know he's breathing. :)

I bet you he can still play. He just didn't get the chance to last year in Houston because of the injury and Adelman didn't give him any minutes.

My thoughts exactly. Suns reportedly paid a half-million dollars to move up three spots in the second round to head off the Detroit Pistons, then paid another half-million dollars to help buy him out of his European contract. Now they’ve anointed him as Nash’s back-up with a rumored four year contract.

This while, many inside and outside the league - Hollinger among them - remain skeptical.

Anyway, he has my attention. He’s a different type of European point guard prospect than I can remember seeing, someone who’s most noted for his defense. I’d always hoped Diamantidis would sign to NBA, that’s clearly not going to happen now. But maybe Drajic develops a similar set of skills.

He’s a lefty with good size and great length, a seasoned twenty-two, solid in transition. He’s tough, breaks up a lot of plays, can guard 1s and 2s. I’ve already got scorers a plenty in the backcourt.

Nets select D.J. White

FYI - I won't be around to make my pick tomorrow, so whoever picks after me next round feel free to skip me.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

A general reminder to everybody:  If you make a trade offer to somebody, but you're not 100% certain that you want to make the deal, make sure you communicate that to the other side *before* they accept.

There have been a couple of instances in this game of people revoking offers after they've been accepted, and that creates hard feelings (and more work for the Commissioner and his assistants, as they have to mediate these things.)
