Hi all, I'm back. Girlfriend took me off on surprise vacation to London for my 30th birthday. I did send the commissioner a draft list at one point, but, looking back, I should have been clearer about the length of my absence. Just as well, I think the only player I missed out on was Wilson Chandler.

Anyway, this is just a long-winded way of saying, sorry for any needless delays my absence cause.

With the 25th pick in the 11th round the Memphis Grizzlies select Chuck Hayes. Furthermore, the team is very excited to get a rotation player of his caliber at this point in the draft.

What? They don't have internet cafes in London?

Welcome back, and happy belated birthday.

Ha! Yes Lucky, good point. They do. In fact, Memphis made both their belated 8th and 9th round picks that way. (Willie Green and Anthony Randolph for those of you keeping track). And, I'm sure you can imagine the girlfriend's eye-rolling.

But please accept a TP from me to you for the laugh and the birthday wishes.

To the rest of you, I'm eager to step into the fray, as soon as the jet lag passes. People are overlooking Memphis. Not that I blame them, the franchise's General Manager is an especially forward thinking one, with a great eye for under-appreciated talent. His vision, if unclear to most, will be vindicated by season's end.

Im confident i will start signing college players if this goes through.  They are also players that arent eligible for the NBA, i see no difference.

I'm confident that if you try that, you will fall flat on your face because legally, you can't do that.

If you see no difference, do your homework and don't expect other people to have to correct you.

If this goes through I will do my best to trade all my best players into your division for little to nothing in return.

I'd like to point out, to be fair, that not even a marginal attempt was made to explain childress coming back stateside, though it was stated SEVERAL times that if a scenario was written up, it may have been approved. instead the tactic was whine about it, and when that didn't work, rescind the pick.

Probley would have done better writing a story about how he came back, since this draft is based on write ups, instead of giving up immeditly. just my .02 cents.

I have 14(16) 14(17) and 15(15) would like to trade for one player either a young pg or young pf.  So if you need to fill out your roster let me know, or if you want to trade those three picks for a 13th rounder I'll do that too.

Whine about it? I clarified with the commish, traded up and it blew up in my face. You would have been annoyed too.

If you remember I kept asking for the commish to make a ruling (thinking of course he had my back) and he came up with the "come up with a good story" which was later overruled and concluded with "a foreign pick is a future pick" .

Oh and also your dead wrong about the "not even a marginal attempt" I offered to pay Childress double, no one bought it.

It starts on 75 of this thread...

And next time refresh your memory before...

Isn't Steve Francis a very old SG who thinks he's a PG?
