Las Vegas Lakers send 4(#7) and Jermaine O'Neal

Atlanta Hawks send 6(#16) and Emeka Okafor.

Were any team doctors exchanged as part of the deal?

Final calls for the pick.

I've received some very fair offers, but I'm not willing to slip to the end of the 4th.

Dr. Phil checked out both players, and says they are both well-adjusted men who are able to express their feelings quite maturely, thank you.

I don't understand this for Atlanta. I liked their young team, and I don't think O'Neal has anything left. But they did move up 2 roudns, lets see what they have planned.

  • Yup
Unless I missed him on the list the OKC Angry Pickles (aka Thunder) select Jamal Crawford who we firmly believe will flourish under D'Antoni's system

Redz, does this mean you've hired D'Antoni to coach the Angry Pickles?

I don't know...All of these alter egos are confusing me ???

If D'Antoni wants part of the Angry Pickle program who am I to turn him away.  Of course he's going to have to take a 2nd fiddle to Scals when I pick him to be our player/coach

What happen to bringing Tony Allen home?

Still plenty of time for that I reckon.
Yup

With the 7th pick in the fourth round, the Atlanta Hawks are pleased to round out their starting lineup with the addition of Al Harrington.

PG: Rondo
SG: Redd
SF: Deng
PF: Harrington
C: O'Neal

We feel this is a team that can compete for the next several years for the Eastern crown.

harrington is a good pick.

the lakers franchis then looks like this

C: Chris Kaman
PF: Emeka Okafor
SF: Kevin Durant
SG:
PG: OJ Mayo

we feel that oj can distribute the ball better than most, and he's got great handles, he can slash and he can shoot the three which is why we're starting him at the point.

My prediction is that the Hawks choose Jonathan Bender and Dale Davis sometime in the latter rounds then move the team to Gary, Indiana. j/k  ;D

And he's had the official Kobe Bryant stamp of approval.  ::)

BTW I love your team, very young and talented

I'm not.  I wouldn't have taken him in the 10th round, unless there was trade interest.

Okafor is a class act all the way, and will be an excellent player in the league for the next several years. The Lakers have a great core for the future.

I wanted to go after the brass ring this year. Rounding out the roster will be key.
