good pick. I think Thabo did't go a pick too early or a pick too late. Perfect value.

Thanks, thought he might be a little early, but I felt I needed a young, athletic swingman who could play some defense and fill up a stat sheet.

Daniels at #28 in the 7th, with my old pick no less, crossed me up a bit. I'd have taken him had he still been on the board.

Thanks...what did you think about Ariza?

With the first pick in the 8th round, the Hawks select Thabo Sefolosha.

Terrific pick ATL ... i had Sefolosha on my keeper league last year and i think he's gonna have a mini-breakout this season... still only 23, he plays good D, scores, rebounds a little and can handle the ball... I was hoping and praying that he'd last to my pick in the 8th afetr i got Harpring in the 7th... but it sounds like he wouldn't have even if you hadn't picked him.

In other news....

The Orlando Magics will very seriously consider moving down to the mid-to-late 9th round from our  9th (#1) pick (and possibly our 8th (#24)) in exchange for a 10th or high-to-mid 11th round pick in either case.... packages involving players will also be considered for moving the pick altogether.

The Bucks will now select Tony Allen

We know Tony has been able to contribute more when he's gotten consistent minutes so he's gonna get every chance to be a starter here if things work out. But we like his athleticism and his defense.

PG-Kirk Hinrich
SG-Tony Allen
SF-Josh Smith
PF-Marreese Speights
C -Marcus Camby

Bench: Ricky Davis, Ramon Sessions, Brandon Rush

Umm... Didn't the Hawks skip the Heat? This round shouldn't be underway just yet.

Also, why don't the Heat just give up their team? Clearly they are not into it.

If a team doesn't make their pick by 7:00pm, the next round can begin, regardless of whether all the teams from the previous round have made their selections.

Wow, I was actually prepared to follow through on the "Bring Tony Allen back to Oklahoma" plan with this pick ;) .  Clearly the Bucks are playing me for some Beasley leverage!

The Angry Pickles are extra angry today and we'll take Marcus Williams , who is going to be Nellie's fave in Golden State.

lol maybe so Redz but actually because beasley is an unproven player at the moment i understand he would not be rated high here. great pick in williams though. i agree hes in a good spot right now with a chance to stud out in golden st next year.
