  • The good ole days.
I know every time it's someones turn to pick we see the inevitable "Guys I won't be picking until my time I'm waiting to see the best offers, I feel there is plenty of value at pick 3420359468 so I will be looking for very good value in return...yadda yadda yadda..." post.

Well, I feel I haven't shown to be that way except for this pick, and in this case I didn't see the 1st pick had come in until it was near my bedtime.  Yes, I go to bed at 9 pm PT.  I'd have made my pick if I knew who I was picking, but I still don't.

I'm not singling anyone out it just happens a lot with many teams.  Don't feel bad about your bed time I'm in my early 20's and go to bed at 10  ;D

Well shoot... I was just about to post my pick that I was quite happy about... then I figured I'd double check he was still available... lo and behold, Drew Gooden went in the 4th.  I don't know why I thought he was still around...

Sorry, I have to start my morning trading (job, not sports) so it'll be an hour or so before I can look into the others I want.

Hey ticket, I just read that article on you blocking that girl in your coed league.

"Now, I’m not one to exaggerate, but I’m pretty sure it was the direct cause of the L.A. earthquake."

"The girl is still probably scouring the courts for her pride and dignity which brings me to an important question: Can a guy block a girl in such a ferocious manner in a coed game? "

TP, Very funny stuff... ;D

And then if they make a deal they have to listen to Roy Hobbs complain about the trade value of those picks being pushed up again  ;D

Or at least he did with my last 2 deals....  8)

The Minnesota Timberwolves select one of the better interior defenders and the best rebounder left on the board... Reggie Evans.

The Minnesota Timberwolves select one of the better interior defenders and the best rebounder left on the board... Reggie Evans.

John Hollinger's verdict on Reggie Evans' defense

Quote
Defensively, Evans is a willing banger but his lack of length prevents him from being a factor against drivers. His lateral movement is only average, so his main asset defensively is how well he controls the glass.

I think people often make the mistake about evans. He's not a good defender, but he's a very good rebounder.
