Thank you very much for making me feel welcome.  I have been a Boston Celtics fan since 1984, and I am from Akron, Ohio.  I started watching basketball because I was intrigued by the player they call the Chief, Robert Parish. I didnt know anything about basketball, except all my friends and family hated the Celtics.  So I decided to watch them one day to see why everybody hates them so much.  The answer, cause their so [dang] good.  As I was watching the game, I kept noticing a tall, lanky player, that never changed his facial expression.  I was facinated by his stoic expression and his jersey number, 00.  After this I kept watching the Celtics to see this number 00 play, I feel in love with the Chief and the Boston Celtics organization thereafter.  In 1996 I took a brief hiatus from the Celtics, because I feel in love with another 7 footer, Kevin Garnett.  I started watching the horrible Minnesota Timberwolves just so I could watch Garnett play, but hated the Timberwolves.  But after awhile, I grew to like the Timberwolves and started rooting for them, just because i wanted Garnett to win.  So when Kevin Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtic, it was a match made in heaven for me.  My favorite player going back to my favorite team.........Beautiful
