Apologize for irresponsible post.  Should of added a smiley face or not posted it at all.  Being a minority, I should of used my brain more before I posted it.  As I read it again, I see how it sounds.  I apologize, and will be more responsible when I post again.  Sorry.

The problem with bringing Ricky back is it is reminder of the awful teams we had here. I'm not saying it was Ricky's fault those teams were bad, but we have moved on. I think it best we not strain the chemistry of we have. Like a old romance, it s best left to memory, it always seems better that way.

The rumour I heard is that Ricky has a huge offer from a Russian team - so that's where he will probably play. It absolutely dwarfs the vet min - or even the other half of the MLE.
That's awesome for Ricky... I heard he likes vodka, cold soup, and the smell of fresh ammunition being fired off at sunrise.  Plus, he always wanted to be slavic growing up.

Much funnier than your first joke.  If you guys didn't realize he was joking by this post then your ignorant. :)

Wait was there a smiley face so people knew I was joking? :)

Crap I wasn't being sarcastic :)

Oh no :)

Seriously though, at this point I don't think Ricky is a terrible option, but with the drafting of giddens (our new ricky) and Walker I think Danny would rather give it a go with some new blood.

I know people are going to trash me for this, but for some reason I see Marbury coming.  I already said I would only take him if he gets a new shamrock tattoo over his star on his dome, but the talents there regardless.

And besides if were gonna give Ricky a stereotype wouldn't it be the Lazy, womanizing, pot head instead of a thug with pitt bulls and guns?;)

Truuuuuuuuuth!

we need a small forward, not a shooting guard. ricky doesn't help us. he's too undersized to play small forward.

Become Legendary.

I'd rather have Ricky than Starbury any day of the week. Ricky at least knows how to apply his talent. I also think the whole "headcase" thing is overrated. He played great with us when he was here, surprisingly so he was good about mentoring the youth as well. People who bring up the headcase issue obviously didn't watch the c's when he was here. It's the easiest cop out for fans who don't know what they are talking about. If Ray or Pierce go down with an injury, there is no one on the bench who can come in and adequately fill in their roles. Giddens, Walker, Tony, House?? No way. If he can come here and be the 6th man, and accept that role the way he did when he was here for the rest of the mle that we have left, i really don't see the issue.

Also, people who think Darius Miles is gonna come back, be effective, and be ready to contend for a championship after being out of the league for 2 years are out of their minds. He wasn't that good before he left the league.

Giddens and Walker also won't really bring that much to the table, sure its a feel good story of hope, but in reality one's a #30 pick and the other #47. Walker will probably go to the D league like pruitt did, or go overseas. They don't even have NBA experience let alone playoff exp. I don't really see this "glut of guards" Sure there might be a lot numbers wise, but take away the people who have no experience(Pruitt, Giddens, Walker) and your looking at a two player rotation at the 1-3 spots. The roster isn't as deep as people portray it to be.

I admit that if Allen or PP were out any length of time that we do not have someone on the bench that could take their place. That being said, to suggest that Ricky Davis could do it is silly. 7 teams in ten years and the one he is with has terrible talent and they don't want him. Ricky is all about Ricky and it will always be that way. We saw Sam Cassell last year, same thing.

Ricky made our team better. We won 45 games and made the playoffs with Ricky. He was an upgrade compared to Wally and would fit in. But not for the 7 million dollars he can get on the open market. Not to mention we have a guy with some similiarities to Ricky in Tony Allen.

If I were Russian I would of
been bugging out by what you
said in that first post.
I mean, if I say that all Americans
are fat and stupid, I'm doing
two things:

a)I'm being ignorant
and
b)I'm lying

I just think that it was hard
to tell if you were joking.
I assure you I hold no ill will
towards you because of this.
A TP for you so you know I'm
being truthful here.

The rules here at CB are quite strict.

And for a good reason:
To assure that everyone feels good
while being online here.
If I want to listen to stereotypes etc
I can go to YouTube or other places and
read the comments. They abound on the 'Net.

No hard feelings, peace.
