76ers (DinoRadjaLives) is the only current M.I.A. GM...

And I hear the Cavs are still greatly confused on what is going on.  Perhaps those two teams should be sold.

TEHRAN (AP) -- The Tehran Lakers franchise has finally settled on a new logo which they plan on unveiling at their upcoming draft party.

Owner Robb expressed his admiration for the logo in an official statement:  "It's fantasitc.  It's modern.  It's stylish, and most importantly, it's something the great people of Tehran can connect to.  We're really grateful to lon3lytoaster for his work.  He's so busy running the operation over there in New Orleans, but he was able to take thirteen, maybe fifteen seconds out of his day to complete this work of art, and we can't wait to show it."

I have a tentative agreement to trade 7-1.   Will be approved by morning unless I receive a better offer.

BREAKING NEWS (pending league approval)  --  In SHOCKING news out of Charlotte, the Bobcats have just traded 7 picks for the 3rd round (#26) pick.   The Bobcats have exactly 5 picks and ONLY 5 picks in the entire upcoming draft.

1st round (#8)
1st round (#16)
1st round (#29)
2nd round (#23)
3rd round (#26)

Bobcats fans are outraged by this seemingly ridiculous strategy that will leave the team with 5 average players and a bunch of d-leaguers signed in the free agency round.

Said LarBrd33, "We are listening to offers for any of our 5 picks, but in general I feel comfortable heading into tomorrow's draft in that position.   I feel there is great potential for us to put together a "big 3" here in Charlotte and we should be in a good position to add two capable players to round out the starting lineup.  In reality, we hope to explore trades for depth after the third round.   At the end of this process, I feel confident we will be able to field a playoff team."

When asked who the #8 pick was likely to be, LarBrd33 had the following to say.  "Deron Williams will be gone at 5th.   We will be starting our franchise with either Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett or Dwayne Wade.   We have sent scouts over to the Olympic team and have heard nothing but positive things about Wade's ability.  He seems healthy, rested and ready to compete.   We will be happy to build this franchise around him unless something moronic happens in the picks 1-7.   A year ago people generally had DWade ranked ahead of Kobe Bryant as the 1B to LeBron James' 1A.  He's young, exciting, extremely talented and a former champion with phenom-level skills.  Dear Charlotte fans... prepare for the Dwayne Wade era."

When asked if the above statement was reverse psychology, LarBrd33 responded with, "But not if it wasn't not reverse psychology."

Bobcats coach, Justin Timberlake, was unavailable for comment.

Portland, OR -- Portland Trailblazers team president Roy Hobbs announced that the team had finalized a flurry of moves that left the team with five choices in the top 69 picks of this week's Celticsblog draft.  The centerpiece of those transactions was the trade between Western rivals Portland and San Antonio, which left the Spurs with the #4 pick and the presumptive draft rights to Kobe Bryant.

"Kobe Bryant is a great player," Hobbs stated, "but he's also an aging player, and a player who has clashed with both teammates and front office personnel in the past.  Those issues, coupled with Kobe's past off-the-court transgressions, along with the tremendous value we received from San Antonio, and this was an easy decision for us."

Asked to give any final thoughts, Hobbs stated "I'd like to thank BigAltheFuture for conducting classy trade discussions.  Celtic Fan Forever also hung in there to the end;  once again, just a great GM to work with.  You wish there were more front offices like those in Detroit and San Antonio.  Oh...  and one more thing.  Kobe:  tell me how my [***] taste."

Hobbs was subsequently fined $2000 by the NBA for conduct unbecoming a team employee, to which Hobbs said "Seriously, Kobe. Suck it."  The NBA could not be  reached for comment.

Insider sources confirm the Portland Trailblazers will likely be building their dominant franchise around Amare Stoudemire.   The young, phenom big man was spotted on Paul Allen's yacht earlier late Sunday night and reportedly has a guarantee to fall no lower than #9 in the upcoming draft.   Stoudemire is coming off a season averaging 25.2 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2 blocks and 59% shooting following successful microfracture surgery and is considered one of the best young big men in the game.

Haha.  I see that LarBrd33 is trying to make sure that Tim Duncan falls to #8, by pumping up Wade's and Amare's value. ;)

Breaking News!

New Orleans, Louisiana -- Hornets owner, GM, President, and coach, lon3lytoaster, would like to announce he's moving the New Orleans Hornets to London, England and is renaming the franchise to Toaster Co.  When asked for comment on how he could do this to an entire fanbase, Mr. Toaster said "The cajun food in New Orleans was getting to me. Also, lon3lytoaster also announced in the same press conference that they have made a draft promise to the NBA's token redhead, Brian Scalabrine. Milwaukee, WI-

Amidst swirling reports that Bucks president bucknersrevenge was "Out to Lunch" or possibly in plans to sell off the team to the highest bidder, the almost absentee owner emerged from a seemingly coma-like status to finally give some long-awaited news to his starved fan base this evening.

"I just wanted to respond to some of the rumors. We are here and we have a great desire to put a quality product on the court to represent the city of Milwaukee."

bucknersrevenge later added "There is no truth to the rumor that we were holding back to await the status of the Brett Favre negotiations in hopes of offering him a contract on our staff. We will not comment of Favre's status at this time. We would like to announce the hiring of Paul Pressey as Head Coach. We have been and are currently in negotiations with humerous teams regarding the upcoming draft. More news will be forthcoming"

It should also be duly noted the President made these comments with a mouthful of cheese.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...
