I just heard he signed with Cleveland but I'm questioning whether my source is reliable. Any news>

is your source like a reporter or some dude at the 7-11?

i don't see why on earth clevland would sign him, unless they decided delonte doesn't fit in. that would give them a bunch of gaurds with gibson signed.

I knew I would get crap for even posting this thread.

Eddie would be great for the Cavs but there's not really a role there for him if they keep Delonte.

Exactly right.  Shooters are a good fit in Cleveland, but there's a limit to the number of shooting PGs a team can carry.

My thought is that this source is closely related to Wyc's deli guy. ;)

That's what I was thinking.  Gibson plays the Eddie House role, so not sure why they would sign House, unless they don't want to pay Delonte.

But if your source can't be revealed, implying that he probably works for an NBA organization, why would you be asking us?  We certainly don't work for any NBA team.

If House does go to Cleveland, it could open the door on West coming East (here).  And I'd be interested in that.  I'd give him the whole MLE for a year or two or a lesser amount of money for more years.  He'd be a great fit backing up the 1 and 2.

Word!  I'll take Delonte back any day.  Especially after i watched an interview with him during the semi finals...he had a lot of good things to say about Rondo...he really gave him props.

If my source worked for the NBA I wouldn't be questioning him.

Obviously if there is no others news on this then my source was incorrect and I shall apologize for even bringing up the discussion!

yea thats my feelign as well. although with house saying he wants a raise for secruity, will he really be that much cheaper for them than delonte?

If House wants to jump ship in exchange for Delonte...Then let him go. West is a better point guard anyways compared to House who is a one-dimensional player worth only instant offense. West is a nice package of everything for a great bench PG to replace and outplay Cassell.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I am sure the Cavs were desperate to sign a third (or even fourth) sharp-shooting PG. I mean they only have Damon Jones, Daniel Gibson (freshly signed to a 5-year contract, no less), and a qualifying offer extended to Delonte West. Yes, that must be it.

This has CROTOR written all over it.
