It's funny how different some of the attitudes have become. We're no worse off right now than we were last year right after the KG trade, title contenders! Now it's a disaster until we can round out the bench. Oh well.

There's a big difference: the solutions available via free-agency to fill the bench are much worse now than last year after the KG trade.
I think the remaining free agents are much better this year, especially at the backup 2 and 3 spots.  We didn't get KG until late July.  It wasn't until then that the C's entered free agency and most of the good ones were gone.  We lucked into Posey.

This year we started early and were/are in the running for all decent free agents.  I don't see Danny settling on a bum.  Championship teams generally luck out with the bargain signings.  I just hope Danny isn't relying on it.

I heard the Hornets don't want to give Pargo more than 3 years.  That's a guy that I wouldn't mind seeing in Celtic green.  Or Mo Evans or Bonzi Wells.

I am so glad I got the Celtics DVD yesterday and watched the whole thing before I heard about Posey leaving.  It was great to relive all those exciting moments.  Today, I feel really sad.  Like Wyc said, the honeymoon sure didn't last long.  It is a shame our euphoric feelings of the last month can't go on for awhile, but I guess that is reality in the big business of professional sports.

Goodbye, Pose.  We all love you.  You will definitely be missed.  And thank you for not going to the Lakers!
