Congrats to Steve for being the next in the long list of nice guys that now gets to take crap from a whole bunch of people he doesn't know when they decide to get uppity.  ;) LOL.

Seriously great addition to the staff. It is always so easy to pick out who will be the next mod and I am actually surprised it took this long. Truly a great addition to a class bunch of guys.

As for a title how about:

Author...In Moderation.

Congrats!!!

Now you too are under the scrutiny of Nick's Senate TP hearings!!   :)

Another round of thank-yous...

Love the pic of my alter ego, cdif.  Also thoroughly enjoy your contributions on site, and I'm flattered by the kind words and the fact that you thought I was a mod previously.

Redz, hope I'm not usurping role of "baby on staff" -- but thanks for welcoming me with open arms  ;)

Nick -- your sentiments are really much appreciated.  As we've discussed in the past, I read your stuff all the time and am always both amused and forced to think; a potent combo.

Coach -- I needn't tell you at this point how much I enjoy chatting.  Thanks for all the kind words, and I'm looking forward to that continuing.

SShore -- I'll be sure to be careful with high-dose TP allocations  :o

Jeff -- the head honcho himself.  It's more and more of a privilege to be a part of this site each and every day.  Thanks for having me aboard.

Congratulations Steve, I can imagine the interview for the position was nerve racking but it certainly paid off!  :)

Much appreciated, Who.

Reyquila, far too kind as always.  :D  I've long appreciated the sentiments you've expressed -- it means plenty to me.  And it doesn't hurt that I enjoy your posts and dedication to the site quite a bit, too.

Oh man, Jsaad, you have no idea -- I was sweating bullets.  It's weird, you know, because Roy and wd -- the so-called enforcers -- we're lobbing me softballs.  But lemme tell you it's those two devilish buggers -- Redz and Edgar -- everything's the third degree with them.  Two tough cookies if ever I've encountered any.   ;D

Just kidding of course.  Thrilled to be welcomed with such open arms by both all of my fellow staff members (yep, that includes Redz and Edgar) and the membership at large.  Thanks again to all who have commented.

I can believe that about Edgar.... after all, you threaten his quest for overlordship and domination of Celticsblog.

Viva Rey Edgar!!!  Viva Rey Edgar!!!   Viva Rey Edgar!!!

Sorry, I am after all one of Edgar's loyal subjects. Well, at least I will be when I get my fresh bag of coffee. ;) :D ;D

Congrats Steve.  You've come along way from that first article where you tried to convince us that Kobe for Ray Allen AND Paul Pierce was not only reasonable, but a good trade for Boston.
