Btw, S&T Biedrins for Powe+fillers? ;D You want to take that kid home...

Ah, probably not. ;)  Even though I love my boy Powe.

Biedrins is the most important player on the W's---more important than Monta.  10 boards a game and he's 21 yrs old.  Good to know that people/fans on the east coast know his value though---you'd never know by watching ESPN's NBA coverage.

i love biedrins. i got laughed off celticsblog a couple years ago for wanting to trade delonte for him straight up.

I'd like to sign Matt Barnes. How come I have not heard his name being thrown out there? I realize he is a big California guy. Played college ball at UCLA, and he has recently played at Golden State. If he is willing to come to Boston I would love to have him in green. He brings a lot of the same things that Posey brings. Danny, bring in Matt Barnes...Who's with me?

Plenty of people have thrown his name around. I myself like him.

I'm with you, but only if we don't get Posey.

I don't like the Barnes fit.  He is a better shooting Scali, without the defense.

Yeah, I know a lot of people have been throwing his name out there on this board. I should have been more specific, I meant in the media. It seems like Barnes has been under the radar. I have not heard any rumors involving his name all off season. He would be a very useful player for a contending team. Hopefully Golden State does not resign him. Barnes would definitely be a good fit here.

Biedrins fits well with our team.  He is more athletic than Brown, and while Brown can shoot a little better outside, we used him mainly for defense and boards.  Biedrins would fill that same void (obviously important in the playoffs as we all saw), and it wasn't like Brown had to make too many outside shots.  I also think Biedrins is more capable of finishing around the basket which Brown struggled with.  I would love to add him, but it would be tough.
