Because you like to see numbers ending in 5 or 0. 

Haha.  I think this one affects mostly just us staff members.  It's always nice topping somebody off when they're within 2 or 3 of a milestone, as well.

I have watched the collective effort of the members to push someone over top.

the following are the reasons why i give tp's:

-they make me laugh
-have wit
-their post "sticks out" from the rest

1. Extremely insightful.

2. Extremely funny.

3. Excellent continued opposition in a debate.

4. Person saves me time by typing up something or looking something up or gives me an answer or link I need. Saving time is always a TP for me.

5. An apology.

6. Because, what the hell, I'm in a good mood. Series clinching win nights especially.

7. To non Celtic fans for being non trolls.
