We've been saying we lack that explosive player off the bench that we use to have in Gerald Green.  This guy is just as explosive, and is an all around better player.  I REALLY wish we did have a summer league team, because I would love to see Giddens and Walker in action, two really explosive young kids.

I'm not sure how this works, but can I get some love from somebody out there for starting the "Unofficial Draft Bill Walker Thread."  I was getting grief from some of you guys, deservedly so, Bill does have the knee issues, but I'm telling, this kid is a stud.  The Gerald comparison is unfair, Bill know's how to get to the hoop and finish.

I was totally bumming when we passed on Mario and took Giddens, a former Jayhawk (I believe from Mario's class), who got kicked out of KU for getting in a knife fight.  O well, maybe he's grown up.  He did almost beat Lebron in the McDonald's dunk contest.

Let these guys compete, earn a spot, and we should have some athletic tikes to grow ubuntu-style under our Big Three.  I'm happy for Bill, I hope he can make it.  Maybe he can morph into the "Joe Johnson stopper."

This just goes to show Danny was putting up the smoke screen big time this year.
