so i walk downstairs and there's my brother on his lap top checking out celticsblog.

me - "you're on celticsblog? how long you been a member for?"
him - "not long, maestro (chuckles), a few months"
me - "you kept that one quiet"

so he lurks around, doesn't post and i don't know what his member name is - i'll find it i tell you.

anyway the point to this thread was this - wouldn't it be funny if some of us actually knew each other, and had no idea?

Thank god. I thought someone had started a thread discussing the theological and cosmological existence of humanity!!

  • Yup
My father had an account on here for a really long time before either of us was aware the other was a member.  When I found out, I felt like I was in high school again - up in my room pretending to be studying!
Yup

i thought u were gunna say something to the extent that us celtics fans actually have no control over what management does... so therefore we shouldn't get all worked up about trades and drafts. like a who do you think you really are moment.

Well, I've got a fairly good idea who celticmaestro's brother is.

I think I've only got one "real life" friend who posts on here, and he's inactive.  No family members, I've fairly certain.

do tell.

if you do indeed know, then you've confirmed my earlier post about you literally having the answer to every question ever asked (or near enough).

I've got my father and brother both hooked on Celticsblog, both are regular posters although my dad seems to have tailed off.

Anytime I see a post of my brothers I feel compelled to tell him how stupid his views are, and how he knows nothing about basketball or anything in general, but since there's no way anyone would know we are related and joking, we would both end up banned and bored.

That would be cheating.

His screen name starts with "u" and ends with "c", though, and is twelve letters long.  You should be able to sort it out from our members list.
