The Greek newspapers talk about interest for Green from olympiakos (GG is mentioned as an nba superstar LOL) And they can offer big money. So maybe instead of green he will wear red and white but i doubt he will be missed here :D

Recent Celtics?

Absolutely none of them.

We're a defensive team, and not a one of them would help us win.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Getting old and not at all attainable, but we're talking fantasy world here so how about Bruce Bowen

he was instantly the guy who came to mind.  i have always loved this guy and his ability.

Seeing as how we've lost PJ Brown to retirement I'd bring back Toine for a ring under the following circumstances

Gets in awesome shape

No jacking up threes

Minimum salary

behaves self

helps mentor young front court guys

doesn't complain about getting very few minutes or his role (largely cheerleader/feel good story/ticket sales)

Terrible replacement for PJ.

PJ was the backup C.  He provided defense and size.  Two thing Walker just doesn't have.

True, but he has talent and is about the same size as Powe and Baby (now anyway).

It's not an attempt to replace PJs position, but some of his intangibles. I don't think PJ was that instrumental to what the Celts did. I think Baby will be able to take over as back up center with a little help from Scala and KG at the position.

You forgot adding "when pigs fly".  What's that they say about teaching an old dog new tricks?

honestly, I'm ready to move on - I say bring the best players in, if they happen to be ex c's ok, but there's not many of them out there who can help us - ex c's I don't want back, thats a long list (just from guys in the league):

Mark Blount
Damon Jones
Marcus Banks
GG (he'll probably con someone into bringing him back, so I consider him "in the league")
Bassy
THeo
Dickau
Orien Greene
Wally WOrld
Raef
Waltah (is he still in the league?)
Atkins
Battie

I'm sure there's more just not remembering them

Telfair is now an unrestricted FA. I really wouldn't mind Ainge at least exploring this option, although Telfair is probably looking for more minutes and more money elsewhere.
