I always liked Ricky D. I think since the trade his tenure has been kinda smeared by the media/FO/ some fans. I think he was underrated as a play maker and we could use him especially if House is the point guard off the bench next season.

That being said, choosing Posey as the backup swingman( and sometimes 4)  over Davis seems much more practical for team needs.

Antoine on the cheap and Gerald Green under the same circumstances, both will need to commit to defense, especially the youngin.

that's like getting Lindsay Lohan to commit to sobriety

I actually agree, if (and this is a big if) you can get him to commit to playing off the bench without a complaint.  He'd be your instant offense, microwave Vinnie Johnson, when PP or Ray aren't playing well, and you keep Posey as the lockdown defender, this makes TA much easier to let walk and really shores up the bench and makes sure the superstars get plenty of rest... I loved Ricky when he was here, from a fan's perspective, I don't know if anything went on behind closed doors that'd keep him from coming back...

Stay away from Ricky.  He would not deal well with being behind two guys that play as many minutes as Pierce and Ray.

Plus, either Posey or another SF defender would also be ahead of Ricky.

Finally, I can't get over the fact that he and Blount were hugging and celebrating like they had just won the title when the beat the Celtics last year.

I think we could really use Mark Blount back. His toughness, rebounding, good hands, and dedication would be a valuable asset off our bench. And actually he might even supplant Perk as the starting center. BRING BACK MARK BLOUNT!  ;)

I loved "Old School"...probably the only positive I can recall from the Pitino days.

Considering that Gomes is staying put in Minny with Big Al, Delonte in Cleveland with Lebron, and Toine being only 31 years of age(he's not retiring anytime soon)....Well, you know the answers.

I'm a little curious as to what team Toine would be traded to 'cause it *will* happen.  Q-Box mentioned Phoenix, I believe......

LOL. Yeah, I think he hates us.. hahahaha. Cough Cough Minny game, or was it Miami? Don't remember, but I hate him too.

Anyways, do any of you all remember a highlight steal by Adrian Griffin way back then, where he stole the ball (pickpocket) in the closing seconds, or minutes. I remember seeing it several times on replay as well as during the game. It was like in the corner where someone was trying to shoot a 3.

I prefer to stay in the present and future and leave the past behind. So, no one.

I will say Big Al, Joe Johnson, and Chauncey Billups always did look good in green.

Guys that could still play for us, guys we could actually get, main points to me.  DWest and Gomes of course but I don't think either would be back and Gomes has no spot if Posey is still around.
How about Gary Payton (still around?) for 3rd guard just to learn from?? Or Chris Mihm for Pollards spot

I was delighted when Danny got rid of the low talent kids that were ruining the team. I don't want them back. That's Gomes, West, Telfair, Green. There are so many better options than those guys. Ricky Davis is a player I like but this team is too good for him and shouldn't have to put up with his unreliable ways. Blount and Toine have no business being in a rotation on a contender at this moment in time and likely for the rest of their careers so no to them too. Adrian Griffin is probably done in. Billups is already ageing so I'm not sure how much is left by the time he could realistically be acquired in free agency.

Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson are the only two that are young that I'd like to see come back some day.
