They just upgraded their forums software from phpbb2 to phpbb3.  They're still working the bugs out.  The biggest thing, of course, is that horrific blue on blue color scheme, which I think is the default with phpbb3.

EDIT: Looks like they've moved to blue on gray.  It's a little better than it was; before, it was just atrocious.

Haven't been on that forum for a year, and haven't missed either it or its militant moderators a bit.
