Title of the thread reads;

"Boston's Lack of Class"

Upset that we "Ran up" the score.....

What did they want us to do?

Leave the court @ the end of the 3rd?

Actually.....maybe we should've.....we still would've won!!!

Haha

The Lakers as a team showed to be a team of excuses and finger pointing.

It has spread to the fans.

Since they can't blame someone else for the Laker getting blown out, they are going to point fingers at the Celtics fro keep the foot on the throat.

What was disrespectful was the way the Lakers played.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

The Lakers didn't deserve any respect.  It was a complete defensive collapse on their part.

we didn't run it up. we were up 35 with both sets of starters in and finished up 39.

this whole series going from phil to kobe to lamar are more intent on finding reasons for their loss as opposed to praising the celtics. i'm fine with that, we're a classy franchise and the lakers are supposed to be too. i guess their players and fans let them down with regards to their history.

Yea, why can't teams just play for fun without keeping score?

As I posted on a similar topic last night, it was terribly disrespectful of the Celts to continue to play hard for an entire game. I can't believe a team would play so hard for four quarters in an elimination game. I mean, there really wasn't much at stake. That must be why the lakers rolled over a died in the second quarter. Giving up is exactly what respectful teams do.

Wow. The only thing more embarassing to Laker fans than the way the team played must be fans like this. Go back to intramural sports if you want everybody to feel good.

The Celtics totally should have rolled over and played dead, like in Game 2, where we blew a 20+ point lead in eight minutes.

Suck it up, Lakers "fans" (that applies loosely to the members on that forum).  The Kobes got destroyed by a better team.

I have to be honest, I thought KG's incident with Odom in the 4th was bush league.

Odom and crew knew they were beat and in fact they were helping Celts up off the floor on the other end.  When a player is demonstrating class in losing, no need to scream in his face.

As for running up the score -- no problem with it, there was a record in their grasps (42 point margin).
I love my kids, call me a sap - it's true.

As I watched the score keep growing and growing, I though maybe they should curtail it a little bit, but there was one problem, the Lakers played ZERO defense. If you continue to give a team open shots and layups, it's going to be a blowout.
