That is awful. I hope she is ok. She was rushed to the hospital? That is not good. I got Diabetes at age 10. It is a tough disease to manage but it can be done.

 No link but they said it during my local ABC7 after the game show and right before it went to the press conference on ESPN with Doc Rivers, Rivers said something along the lines that it's a personal issue and he doesn't want to talk about it. The question wasn't shown but it's safe to assume that's what he was asked.

My mother has had diabetes since she was 11 years old. As others have said its a tough disease. The positive thing, is it can be controlled if you work hard at it. I wish his family the best of luck!

Doctors thought my daughter had diabetes when she was about two and a half years old, fortunately it wasn't but its a pretty heart wrenching thing to get your head around...  How old is Ray's daughter?  :'(

man, i feel for ray.  this post season has truly been tough for him with personal issues.  first the thing with his mother and stepfather, now this.  my thoughts to him and his loved ones.

In a way, I'm glad we didn't win the championship last night...... Ray would not have enjoyed it and he's been a big part of this team all year....... I just hope he's mentally there for game 6
