Hey guys - I'm a lifetime Laker fan who is actually a descendant of my grandpa's Minneapolis Lakers love way back in the day. Here to talk about the hate for Kobe and the Lakers and the awful coverage of the Finals on ESPN.

It seems the writing for the entire series has been very biased against LA, which is what I expected, but for ESPN to have Bill Simmons on the front page spewing his Laker hate, whining about every call that goes against Boston, etc, is unacceptable. There has gotta to be something we can do, from a boycott of ESPN.com or something like that. His articles are absolutely unreadable. I flipped through his running diary of game 4 (why, I don't know) and it basically was 4 hours of him blaming the Celtics mistakes on refs or Doc Rivers and not crediting LA, it was unbelievably awful.

Thoughts?

BSPN's coverage has been disgusting. I also like how the Top 10 Los Angeles Finals moments mostly consisted of Celtic moments, or Laker mishaps.

I thought everybody would enjoy the humour in this. After all it is an off day.

The problem isn't ESPN. The problem is the whining fans themselves.

There are fans who are so sensitive and seem to have such an inferiority complex, that they whine about ever sentence Breen utters and take affront, claiming he hates the Celtics.

The funniest thing about this whole topic is that ESPN "experts" were actually trying to compare Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan. I couldn't belive what I was hearing and reading. I hope everyone sees it this way now. What a joke. That guy is the antithesis of professionalism. Kobe Bryant the role model for young NBA fans who gets over losses by drinking wine, beer, and 20 shots. Kobe you're a real cool guy.

They must be focusing on the post game 4 coverage, which was all about the Celtics. Imagine how they will complain about the coverage when the Celtics win the championship.
