yes !!!

the one-sided injury bug in this series has been unsettling, to say the least. Three starters have been hurt in one championship series. Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. ?

we can only go so far on heart and guts. having your starting point & center out would devastate most teams.

i agree - we've had fun celebrating for 24 hours now. it's time to refocus and finish this job. i want to close it out sunday while the Lakers are shaky. do not give them a chance to gain any confidence.

lots of people - Celtic fans, media - are talking like the series is over. if the Celts play with that attitude, we could all find ourselves in the middle of a Game 7 quickly.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I think worried is too strong a word, at least for me .... I would say I'm concerned, but not a lot. Let's remember, this amazing turnaround we had was precipitated by the loss of Perk and Rage, and I think the team handled it pretty well, to say the lest. This team has presevered through "loss due to injury" all year, and come out shining.

I still remember how freaked out everyone was when KG went out, and we played great! We've taken up the slack with grit and determination all season, and I have little doubt that we won't do so now. I also think it may add to the Lakers being a little over-confident on Sunday, and that's a mind-set I'd love to see them in!

This thing isn't over. Killing a team with Kobe on it won't be easy at all. Hopefully his "team" will play like they have in the Finals some more. But having people hurt all the time could come back and bite us if it keeps up. I'm trying to stay grounded about this and not talk trash to my friends who are Lakers fans. Karma can be a...... well you know.

A little, but less than game 2 (Pierce and Perk both hobbled), and Game 4 (Rondo clearly not right).  Pierce played fine after the tweak, Rondo will have 3 more days to rest up, and if Perk can't go, PJ and Powe can fill in.
