evidently, my worst fears of the Celtics reading all the hype about how this series is over and believing it have come true.

this board has been full of discussions about retiring numbers, next year's contract issues, parade plans. i say we the fans as well as the players themselves need to remember that one more win is needed to secure a championship.

i even read something about a "Celtics 2008 Championship Commemerative Yearbook." Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. ?

No defense whatsoever in that 1st quarter.  They obviously don't care about this game and are complacent with taking a game off to really play in Boston.  Either that or they have just decided not to care yet, like in game 4.

Either way it's driving me nuts.  I'm so p***ed off right now.

Can we hold them below 156?  It's not looking good. ;)

I honestly do not see how people are blaming the refs.  Garnett came down across both of the poddle's arms on the second foul.  And, we have been to the line as many times as they have.  Maybe if the Celts played some D in that quarter they would not be down 17.

This is so true, it got sickening over the last 3 days. We won nothing so far.

The only good thing I see so far is that the value of my game six tickets are increasing with each tick of the clock tonight.  Come on Celts, get into the game.  Honestly though, my big fear is the Perkins injury could hurt this team a lot more than we think.

How many times do we have to get hip-checked into photographer's row to get a call? And yes, I'm complaining about the refs.

Yep.  Paul needs to take control, and he is.  We're in the penalty from here.
