since when do i want Kobe Bryant? I don't want to win a championship if it means i need to put up with a rapist wearing my favorite basketball teams colors. That would be too hard to just accept. He might be the mvp we have to acknowledge that regardless of what we think of pierce kg chris paul lebron james irrelevant mvp means 2008 best player is kobe. And the best player aint good enough to hold onto a  24 pt lead. Atleast when red had the best player to ever live his team didnt choke it away. And red aquired him Bill Russell wasnt given to him on a silver platter like kobe shaq jordan and pippen were

I am a Vujacic fan.  I think he would be a great fit for our team.  He plays with a lot of energy and heart, and if you suround him with mature players, rather than the children on the Lakers, you could really use that.

I also like Walton, Turiaf, Farmar and Fisher.

I honestly think the C's should make a run at Vujacic though, who is a RFA this summer.
The thing is, we don't need Vujacic. We need a long big man who can shoot it and play defense, and a defensively oriented wing.

At this point I think that Cassell and Tony will be gone in the off-season, and PJ will retire for good. House must be resigned, which leaves us with 2 particular needs as outlined above.

They're a stacked team.  I love their young guys (well hate Sasha but think he's awesome).  Farmar, Sasha, and Ariza are all very talented guys.

How about a trade...the Celtics Cheerleaders for the Lakers Cheerleaders? That is about all I would want from the Lakers right now..maybe Bynum in a few years..I definitely would not want Mr. Softee(and yes, that could fit a bunch of their players)

But they can keep the one that got with Kobe!

Turiaf, Trevor Ariza, and Derek Fischer. All are solid role players.

Forget it guys.... Players from the Lakers rarely comes to play for Boston... And if they do, is usually short lived... The only time I remember a player from the Lakers is Kermit Washington from the '70s... I would rather sign players from the Pistons...  ::)

The following players are not worth the size of their contracts: Gasol, Odom, and Radmanovic.  Therefore, I would not want to acquire them at their current salaries.  Now, Gasol would be great if he came in at less than 10Mill per year.

Ok, let's confine our discussion to players we can afford if we play business smartly.  With money a consideration, I would take the following:

Bynum, Vujacic, and Fisher.

Who knows, with Fisher we may be able to bench Rondo.  Did you see how the floor opened up once we got some good shooters out there?  How smooth the offense can run, with a competent playmaker, defender, and shooter out on the floor.  Rondo fulfills two out of three, Fisher fulfills all three.  Vujacic's shooting ability and height is worthy of a precious space on our bench.  Bynum, it goes without saying.

i will respectFULLY disagree with your Derek Fisher point
i take rondo 1000 of 1000 times over fisher
sayed that
A heealthy Bynum and that anoying little fly that Vujacic is surely can help
turiaf NO hes unusefull

Bynum. He was rebounding and playing good defense this year. Imagine him next to KG.

Depending upon their role and salary, I'd take Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Bynum, Farmar, and Ariza.

That is exactly the way I feel minus the Odom and plus Vujacic and Turiaf. If we did somehow get Odom I think I could get used to him. I also might be willing to take Vlad for the minimum

Let me be perfectly clear - I do not want therapist playing for the team I root for.
I'd take Gasol and Bynum.

I go with bynum, but if i couldn't, i think i go with gasol.

first of all, if he's on the C's he's not being defended by KG.

second, the offense with rondo, allen, pierce, kg, gasol is ridiculous.

third, on defense, though gasol is a pf/c type, i think it's easier to play center with kg as your 4 than with either radmonovic or odom.

I too would put my green pom poms in the closet for a period of time.  I'd take any player in the NBA over Kobe -- even Artest.
