The Lakers want it more.  We're back to showing the same pathetic tendencies that we showed in Atlanta.

Worst deficit at the end of the first quarter in NBA Finals history.  Good job, guys, you should be proud.

The Celts should simply forfeit this game.  This is horrendous.  What an embarrassment.  Not one player came to freaking play.  This literally makes me sick.

Then don't watch

Somebody tell the Celtics that this isn't the Hawks we're playing -- they're actually allowed to make shots on the road.

And why isn't Powe in the game?  We're getting outhustled and beat up... get old man PJ out of there and put in Powe.  Hell, let BBDavis come in and knock Odom on his butt a few times.

DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT DOC.  WHAT YOU'RE DOING ISN'T WORKING

Pierce is making the dumbest passes. Eddie House can't make wide open shots. Garnett is in foul trouble and is still taking jump shots instead of taking it to the paint. Overall - we suck right now. I know the game is far from over but if we continue to play the way we're playing, this series is gonna get even up. It's really embarrass to watch.

Thanks for the advice, Nora, I am not watching.  I am not going to watch a team that basically lays down in the first quarter of the fourth game of the NBA finals.  I bet Red is proud that the C's now hold the record for the largest first quarter deficit in the finals in the history of the NBA.  Total joke. No excuses.  Only question I have is will they set the record for a half time deficit also?

That's exactly what this feels like -- one of those road games in Atlanta.  Disgusting.

What a disappointing game.  To think, I actually looked forward to this crap.

I have a good feeling about this one. Lakers will get lazy and let there guard down.

I'm with you Chief. This lead has come too early for the Lakers. They'll hand the Celtics a chance to make a run at some point. It's about whether the Celtics make enough of that.

The C's are one of the hardest working teams in the league. They've a great defense and plenty of offensive weapons. They're one of the best equipped teams in the league at making a run, they'll make a run.

  • Let's Go Celtics
Get it to 10 at the half.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Okay, let's take stock of the situation.

- it is impossible to play any worse but we at last have to start playing better.

- defense has to pick it up especially on the perimeter

- offense should be take it in over and over again. If we keep being a outside jumpshooting team the game is over.

Need to get this down to 10 by halftime.

Time for the biggest comeback in the history of the game...
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

as we saw in the first three series except in game 6 in Detriot, this team as no fight when down on the road. Just look at the body language. This team is not better than us!! Step up and play Pierce!! Allen!! and Garnett!!

So.. thats about as good the LA Lakers gets on the offensive end but i wonder how much this is Lakers running on all cylinders or us running some real horrible team defense.

But i personaly bleed green still, and i hope everyone here does.. we still have 3 qtrs to play.
