  This thread is incredibly classless.

I dunno that looks like a lot of heart to me.  Maybe he's just acting and he should stay in LA after the series...

I agree KG has a lot of heart. Lots of guys have lots of heart. Someone said Scala had heart. I'd agree. For that guy to stay in the league it probably took a lot of heart

So then what's the point of all these ridiculous anti KG topics?  You flop more than Bill Plaschke.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

cmon, eja.  every one of us on this board has the heart to sit on the bench and collect 3M$ a year, with a couple of cameos on the home floor as the Human Victory Cigar.  (we should really chant H-V-C instead of Scal-a-brin-e...)  Hell, we'd probably all do it for $50K.

You might as well have called this thread "Powe has more heart than KG" or "KG is more bling than bang."

Yes, Leon's story is great, and he's a great player, but it's obvious you created yet another thread to diminish/criticize KG for some reason.  Why are you trying to stir things up?  You even acknowledged in the OP that people were going to be upset with you.

What point are you trying to make?
God bless and good night!

IMHO it's borderline trolling and I would think it would make most fans of the Celtics and KG more than a little irritated . . . at least as much as one can be irritated by an internet message board.

When did I flop? Did I say KG doesn't have heart? I don't understand why one guy can't have more than another. I don't buy this concept that somehow if a person says "I think this guy has more heart than that one" that the fans of that one have to be upset unless they have something over the top for him or really don't like the other guy.

Like I understand why Phil Simms got mad when someone criticized his son's game. I don't get this at all.

If someone wants to start multiple polls about all the awesome things KG does about how he rebounds and blocks shots and whatnot I'll be happy to vote there about how he is best on the team at that. I won't even suggest that it's trolling or that the threads should be locked or anything.

Possibly lol, however when you read 3 different threads that would have you thinking you were down 0-3 in an early round playoff series all due to one particular player I think there is something wrong with that.

The OP completely ignores any other aspects of KG's game and focuses on offense only and completely on the post game.

I don't know where you guys are seeing this. Who said we were down 0-3? i think I said stuff like "if we lose". Should I not say that? It's not a possibility or something?

I don't see the problem with talking about an aspect of a player's game. Like if we say "should Rondo learn to shoot better" and then asked "what would be best for Rondo to focus on: shooting, ball handling, defense" and then asked "who has the most heart: Rondo, House, Cassel" and then asked "Why do you think Rondo alllllwwwaayyss fails to shoot open shots" they are just 4 completely different things. I don't know if I feel that way cause I did slightly above average on the English portion of the SATs or cause I'm a basketball fan, but that's how I see it and I don't see how it would reflect negatively on Rondo or any other Celts pg or should result in locks or troll accusations.

Whatever. I'm going over to a different forum where maybe I'll ask the same questions and see what happens. Maybe they'll actually discuss KG, idk    :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

Good riddance.

I didn't suggest anyone was trolling. Although I would say whatever the internet equivalent of being so biased towards a player to the point where there is just an inability to rationally discuss him and defending him at all costs takes place is, then I'd say I see that sometimes for whatever reason.  :D  :'(

To be honest I would expect to read posts like some of yours on the ESPN.com forums, not here where I figure the real fans come.  I'm sure you love the Celtics and that you just want them to win the Title like everyone else I just feel some of your points are really just reactionary and not really based in what we've seen all season.  That's my opinion and of course you are entitled to yours as well.

Fair enough. I've heard ESPN has mean dudes but I've never heard reactionary before. I have never checked that place out. Maybe I should. I have stuck to Celtics Green, Red's Army, Celts24/7, and here. I don't really think in terms of whether there are "real fans" or fake fans there. I think that now that the regular season is over and the games matter maybe there will be more reactions than there used to be, but maybe not

I'll discuss KG rationally all day.  He's not the best player on the block in the game, he's not the best scorer on this team, and he's never going to be what it is you want him to be.

However, he is a top 50 player all time and rising.  He's one of the greatest all-around talents the league has ever seen, and Celtic fans everywhere should have an appreciation for what he brings to the table every single game of the year.  With one trade this team went from possible playoff team to legit contender and is one of the few teams to actually EXCEED expectations after big acquisitions.  Go take a look at the win projections and the measures back last summer.  Most people figured they might hit 50 wins and POSSIBLY make the ECF's and have something to build on for 2008-2009.
