I dunno that looks like a lot of heart to me.  Maybe he's just acting and he should stay in LA after the series...

I agree KG has a lot of heart. Lots of guys have lots of heart. Someone said Scala had heart. I'd agree. For that guy to stay in the league it probably took a lot of heart

So then what's the point of all these ridiculous anti KG topics?  You flop more than Bill Plaschke.

When did I flop? Did I say KG doesn't have heart? I don't understand why one guy can't have more than another. I don't buy this concept that somehow if a person says "I think this guy has more heart than that one" that the fans of that one have to be upset unless they have something over the top for him or really don't like the other guy.

Like I understand why Phil Simms got mad when someone criticized his son's game. I don't get this at all.

If someone wants to start multiple polls about all the awesome things KG does about how he rebounds and blocks shots and whatnot I'll be happy to vote there about how he is best on the team at that. I won't even suggest that it's trolling or that the threads should be locked or anything.

Why would YOU suggest it's trolling when you're the troll?

I didn't suggest anyone was trolling. Although I would say whatever the internet equivalent of being so biased towards a player to the point where there is just an inability to rationally discuss him and defending him at all costs takes place is, then I'd say I see that sometimes for whatever reason.  :D  :'(

We've all rationally discussed these guys, what we like with their games and what we don't.  We've debated the flaws they all have.  You're just trying to take over the forums with so many different threads discussing the same thing.  It's unnecessary and annoying, you've made your point.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Take over the forums?  I never heard that one before.
They aren't threads as much as polls. People could just vote if they wanted.  I don't see how you vote about all issues if you can't make polls about them. It looks like the results are contradictory too, which is interesting and then would make natural discussion.

You've got three of these dumb "polls" up here now and one was already locked.  Get a life.

  • The good ole days.
Let the arguing and name calling begin.  I know who I think it is. Now there's one guy that screams and pumps his chest and gets paid more than anyone in the league and gets tons of blocks and rebs and never goes inside, settling for low percentage outside jumpers. Another guy is big and has been hurt multiple times and gets a lot of dunks off assists from the other guy. The third is the smallest, but seems to take it to the hoop more than the other two. Hmmmmmmm.  Which of these things is not like the other?

I'm not even sure who the first player you're describing is.  I thought it was KG, but he doesn't get a "ton of blocks", and has one of the highest midrange jumper shooting percentages in the league... so it can't be him.

"It ain't about me.  It's about us."  - KG, interview with John Thompson, 2005 All Star Game.

Well let's see. If you take out all his layups, putbacks, and breakaway dunks then his field goal percentage becomes one of the highest percentages of a low percentage shot and while he doesn't get 2000 pounds of blocks he is #22 in the league in blocks ahead of Big Z, Al Horford, Kenyon Martin, and Ben Wallace, but behind Perk by .13 per game.
