Sorry to bump this
but really? No one is concerned?
Why is Tanguay reporting that the sun is shining on Rondo right now, when the man himself says this is unlike anything he's ever felt...
I'm concerned, but I think he said that it's a different injury than what he's had before, not a worse injury.
Good point - maybe I'm worrying too much.
Maybe it's a jammed ankle similar to what Ginobili had done. If you look at the replay, his foot that got hurt was in a tippy-toe position, for lack of a better way to describe it.
Anyone know what the prognosis is on those, typically?
Really, it s a matter of degree of severity, on a 1-10 scale for want of a better metric, which will only be known at game time in that furtherest hour from the incident, taped and as he tries to cut or jump.
In any event, this is exactly why Sam was brought here, as I mentioned in those many threads on "Sam". Fine, we do have house to start in Rondos place and Sam to spell him. A stronger coaching job would dictate to Sam something like he has a cieling of 3 shots in a given 8 minute spell to reinforce his role as playmaker. He must have a better idea of the set plays by now and where he can best help facilitate the offence, I would have hopes.
A game off may be the best course with Rondo, again, depending upon the severity etc...
