Clearly the shot is NOT there.  Only 2 boards in the 2nd half??  Showed us that BEAUTIFUL jump hook that I've been desperately hoping for 6 years that you'd use more often... and it was butter.  Come on, man!  Harness your inner 2002 self for a game and put up a KG-only 25-18-8 game!  Please!!!  For me!

Still BT, the people here turning on Garnett just sicken me.  Up 2-1 and the Garnett trade is the main reason this was possible and people are already starting to say "this is why we should have kept Al" etc.

It's ludicrous and I guess those fans would prefer to be sitting at home watching the Lakers play another Eastern Conference team.

Not to mention, even with the shooting struggles, KG had yet another double-double.

Well said, KG has been frustrating at times in the playoffs but he is still the reason all of this is going on.  I have faith that he'll have a good rebound game Thursday night.  A sweep would've been nice, but let's be realistic, the Lakers are a great team and aren't going to go down without a fight.  Thursday's gonna be another dog fight, I think a better performance from KG will put us over the top.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Yup, same folks who were ready to call in Allan Ray to replace Ray Allen a couple of weeks ago.  KG's missing his shots, but he's our guy.
Yup

Who are they?? Let me at 'em, let me at 'em.  This team would be sippin' mai tais right now with Al instead of KG this year.  Give me names, I'll smoke 'em out one by one.

Who is turning on KG?

All I have seen is people begging KG to be the low post killer he can be against this team.  especially when his jumper has left him.

I agree.   I'm not banging on KG, but Pau absolutely cannot handle him on the block.  His drifting is letting their D off the hook.   He got to the line, had that banker, and was rollin.

The coach and players need to call his number on the block and establish him and keep feeding him, feeding him, feeding him.

Then we can play some inside out ball and get our shooters going........

its seems so obvious, fans, commentators.   why can't the 8 coaches on the sidelines see this?

People just need to face it, the same game that Garnett plays that got us this far and made us a 66 win team can make him more prone to having a poor game every now and then.  He's never going to be the perfect "dominant" inside presence but this same game is what has allowed him to be one of the top players in the league at 32 years old with no major injuries in his career (knock on wood).  His game is at it's best when he mixes inside with outside and passing out of double teams and I don't anticipate his shooting woes to continue, and if it does I expect adjustments.  Everyone should enjoy seeing these 3 guys out there play and enjoy seeing some of the greatest players to ever play wearing Green right now.

Sorry for the rant but some of these fans turning their backs on these guys just sickens me.

But he has not mixed it.  he has been a jumpshooter.

I've seen them in at least 2 threads and I don't feel like researching them now since I'm about to go to bed soon but I'll just say I find them to be ridiculous.  God willing Garnett has 3 KG-worthy years left in him for the Celtics and I anticipate the C's being contenders during that entire period of time.

Here is a quote from the game thread by Butterbean, I think this is what is being refered to:

"As much as I hate to fan the flames, this takes the KG choke job reputation to a whole new level. This is why 85 percent of the fans didn't want to trade Al Jefferson for this guy. Even playing with two future Hall of Fame offensive players, he couldn't buy a bucket. What was KG tonight, our fourth option? Sixth? Time to step up, big fella."

Well, Celtics most certainly would not even be here had they not gotten KG.

One guy in another thread made a stupid post about why so many Celtics fans did not want to trade Big Al for KG.  Everyone else is basically pleading with KG to establish a post game and abuse Gasol.  He must mix up his game a little bit.
