I think this is a thread aimed at supporting KG rather than saying "we'd b better with al"

As I was going to start a "official support KG thread" much like we did for rayray, I saw this. I just want the KG to play like the KG that his diehard fans know him-15 and 10(I know this is a little understatement) for KG is rather sub-par in a playoff game for his standards I think.
I want to see the 30-20 KG during game 7 of '04 conference semis. Let's go KG, you can do it. Go down low and show Pau how you play. Show the world what the finals mean to you, KG, go get it!
Anything is possible!!!

I completely agree with people saying he needs to be in the post more.  If I'm Doc (not being critical as I like Doc more than most) I'm telling KG and the team that he needs to touch the ball in the post on nearly every possession and that neither Odom or Gasol can check KG so to do a strong move and score the bucket and/or draw the foul.

I just get incensed by people that question the Garnett deal or start talking about KG and his clutchness.  I've never bought into the "he's not clutch" deal and it would take an epic failure in this series for me to buy into that.  Even tonight he impacted the game on defense and on the glass and set others up with passing and he's simply the biggest impact player the C's have on the floor when you combine both sides of the floor.

He was referring to other threads, not the one I started (I think?).  If you're looking for a KG hater on this blog, I'm probably the very last person to start with.

This is me pleading for KG to show any resemblance to the player I grew to love over the last 12 years.  I'm not even asking for a 30/20 game, this is too much of a team for him to do that.  I want a balanced attack with solid defense and efficient shooting.  Basically what he did all year.  I'll take 24-12-5 on 60% shooting.  Is that too much to ask?

I see, haha...that's what I was wondering, from what I've read written by you, you seem like as big a KG fan as I am (if not bigger-only I doubt that's not possible haha). My mistake, I'm just not thinking right, because that was a game we should've taken. But nonetheless, I trust in the Celtics playing textbook basketball in the next 2 games, and definitely agree on what you said, 30-20 was slight exaggeration of what I want, but anyhow let's go KG!

Obviously we want KG to hit 50% of his shots or better. But they're not going in. What frustrates me about KG and Paul is they settle for too many jumpshots when the ball is'nt going in. I like that KG is being aggresive though. If we're gonna go down, go down shooting.
