Ugh, little things like that drive me nuts...what kind of an ending shot was that by Rondo?  Gotta pass it there.

Getting Rad and Odom in foul trouble may not have been in the C's interest. LA is getting some play from the other subs. Turiaf bothers Garnett, apparently. Still within six tho.

KG and Pierce combined 2-16

If someone told you that before the game, would you guess score at HT?

i live in knoxville so i don't always get the day-to-day details on the Celtics.

could someone please explain to me what Doc has against Eddie House. it seems to go beyond simply the one game at Detroit when he had trouble getting the ball up the court (so did Sam that game).

what the hell is Doc's problem with Eddie ??

now that it's halftime - i'll ask again ........ what does Doc have against Eddie House ? is this one of Doc's power trips trying to justify picking Sam up ?? Eddie would easily be better for the Celts than Cassell has been.

Cassell makes me want to throw up. I'm going to start disliking him as much as Kobe before this is all over.

Yeah, pretty much.  But, I'm sure somebody will come on here and tell us how well he played.

Good news: Paul and KG are sucking and the C's are only down by 6.

Bad news: Paul and KG are playing way too tentatively.  They really need to stop the jumpers and take it to the hole.

Ok, no KG on offense and no Pierce at all, the entire game is makeup calls for Game 2, and we're only down 6.  This is a best-case scenario given how the 1st half has gone.

That said, we need to step up 2nd half and continue to attack.  Pierce and especially KG are getting good looks but not knocking them down.  The free throw discrepancy is partly an officiating discrepancy, but mostly that the Lakers are just being more aggressive.  Attack on offense, attack on defense...we can do this!

Can't complain being down 6 the way the C's have shot, way the game has been called, etc etc. We are in this.

Now, not hard to realize that WE NEED TO GO TO THE HOOP! Don't settle for J's. And if you aren
t getting calls on the road, how do you correct that?, make the refs blow the whistle by attacking the
hoop.

And for the most part, the D has been great

Your guess in Knoxville is as good as ours, we have no idea.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Looks like we get a "Kobe-Lovefest Feature" at halftime from ABC.

And it looks like I'm gonna do a little channel surfing for the next 10 minutes.

Ugghhh   :P

He should be happy with this score, considering how bad Pierce and Garnett played offensively...besides, I 'm really trying, but it's hard not to mention the Cassell situation...at least give Eddie a chance!!!!!!!!!!

FTs:  Lakers 12-22, Celtics 5-7.

I knew after Phil Jackson's whining the Lakers were going to get all the calls, but this is ridiculous.  Luckily, the Lakers are shooting them like poop.

And this halftime thing on Kobe is so pointless.  Kobe's reputation is irreedemable by this point.  I wish the NBA would stop playing to make him look like a "good guy."  Even Lakers fans admit he's a complete jerk.
