This is a call to the Boston Celtics faithful rocking the Garden every game night.
Old fans, new fans, bandwagon fans, everyone who's there.
We're asking you give what you can to help the C's give Paul Pierce the ring that he deserves.
We're asking for your voice to join togethor in chanting
Ali, Boma Ye! Anyone paying attention knows that Doc Rivers has been showing these Celtics footage of Muhammad Ali's fight against George Foreman in Zaire as inspiration. While training for that fight Ali had won the loyalty of the people of Zaire, they would chant
"Ali, Boma Ye!" while he trained, while he ran.

What better way to let the Celtics know they're not alone than chanting:
Ali, Boma Ye! When Foreman stopped Ali cold with his skill and force, Ali turned to the crowd for the strength and will to go on. It's a different day and a different place, but the Celtics do no less when they looked to the Boston crowd to provide the home court advantage that has served them well. Ali won that fight with defense and heart and so will the Big Three with your help.

You are that advantage.
Remind them by chanting
"Ali, Boma Ye!" during this NBA finals.
Don't stop chanting when Kobe drains a silky jumper and a hush falls over the crowd, Don't stop chanting when the Celtics miss a shot, Don't stop chanting when the Celts stumble, that's when you need to yell louder.
Ali, Boma Ye! Your throat may not know the words that come forth
Your ears my not recognize the strange sound
But I promise you they will know and understand
Some of us can't say we were there for Bird or Russell, but in a generation, you can say you were here, and you can say you were part of this. That while you never touched the ball, you still played your part in raising another banner to the rafters.
Please Sunday night at the Garden, join togethor chanting:
Ali, Boma Ye!
