Quote
1. St. Paulie Girl
2. Stella Artois
3. Heinekin
4. Grolsch
5. Pilsner Urquel

I'm glad u brought up St. Paulie's girl, sometimes theres nothing better than that sweet blonde bringing u a beer.  St. Paulie isn't very strong and "flavorful", but it's really nice and smooth and perfect in hot weather.  Kind of like a Corona, but really cheap.  For those in Amherst, you can find a 12 pack for $10.99 at the liquor store near McMurphy's.

Also, there were 24 packs of Sam Dog (I think that's whats called, a beer from the makers of Budweiser) selling for $15 at Liquors 44 that was pretty decent.

Others I enjoy: Skol and Brahma (Brazil)
Tsingtao (China)- cheap and good to drink
Opa Opa (Berkshire, MA)- kind of like Sam Addams, big variety
Bud Light- you can never go wrong with a nice, cold Bud Light
Baby Jesus!

bud was a very close second.

I (for reasons too long and boring to talk about here) am not Bud person and it bummed me out to no end when I went over to Dublin two years ago to see U2 at Croce Park and the only beer they served there was Bud!!

I shrugged my shoulders and said, well most the crowd is from America, why not the beer.  But - I didn't drink it!   :)

1. Sam Light
2. Sam Summer
3. Beer Works Back Bay IPA
4. Magic Hat #9
5. Harpoon Summer
5. Magic Hat Single Chair Ale
6. Sam Winter
7. Sam Boston Lager
8. Sam Oktoberfest
9. Sam Boston Ale
10. Harpoon IPA

As you can see, I'm a big Sam drinker. I couldn't decide whether I like IPA more than Sam White, but I polished off a bottle of IPA so as of now, I like IPA more.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I always go with the light beer on sale (Coors/Miller)

So that will work just fine for me.

Though, a couple of Kaliks work to since this is an island.

For commercial stuff (this list is subject to constant revision, and this is pretty much off the top of my head):

Russian River Pliny the Elder
Russina River [dang]ation
Alaskan Smoked Porter
McNeill's Ruby Ale
Ayanger Celebrator
Stone Ruination
Smuttynose IPA
La Fin Du Monde
Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout
Moslon Canadian; guilty pleasure at the in-laws (Buffalo) and post-lawnmowing

I homebrew, and there's lot of stuff that I've made (and more stuff that my buddies have made) that will stack up to anything on this list.

This is a tough one, because I love to go out to a bar like Sunset, and just try random stuff, and I am always finding new good ones, that I never remember about.  But here are some of my old standbys (in no particular order).

-Guinness
-Leinie's (great in the summer)
-Sam Adams (I like most of the seasonals, as well as the Lager)
-Fuller's London Pride (I have gone to London the last couple of years and really nothing compares to just about any English Ale on tap)
-Fuller's ESB
-Youngs Chocolate Stout
-Hoegarrten (sp???)
-UFO
-Blue Moon
edit:  I completely forgot about Victory Golden Monkee...one of my favorites lately

I also love to head down to Cornwall's to get a "Black Velvet" (Guinness and Cider), or when I do go to England, I need to get at least one "Snake Bite Black" (Lager, Cider, and Black Currant...it is dangerously delicious).
