We really need some offense in the second half. I think we are going to win this game, but we cannot afford to turn it over 11 more times and shoot 29 percent. I think Ray Allen is a super player, but his shooting slump confuses me. He seems to be releasing his shot too quickly. I know that is his forte, but maybe he needs to slow down and set his feet better to get on track.

That wave-off of the first freethrow by Rondo and then him missing the second one is going to be HUGE.

Don't know if anyone posted about this but did anyone else catch the little sequence ESPN did going in to commercial at the end of the 1st quarter?

It was a voice over from Breen (I think) talking about how great the Detroit defense was playing while showing a motion of slow-motion plays--each of which was a Detroit foul.  The worst was that Billups strip of PJ where you could see the contact and BJs whole arm shudder before he made contact with the ball.

Classic irony.

We don't want it enough to make this comeback complete at this point.  Hopefully at some point they'll wake up and finally be able to get that 3-1 lead to take back to the Garden.  You would think two letdowns in these game 4 situations would be a learning experience or at least a wake up call to these guys.
