I'm glad as the game goes on they get away from giving the ball to McDyess.

I'm convinced he can hit that mid range jumper at about an 85% clip.

I'm calling it...

That wave-off of the first freethrow by Rondo and then him missing the second one is going to be HUGE.

So big that I'm gonna say that the Celtics lose by 1.

what we need now is to get a stop on the first possession and make it a 1 point game and match their energy because they're gonna come out exactly how they did in the first and we need to be ready!

Really disappointing lack of energy at the start. Thought Perkins was the only one playing hard. Rondo had to sit for a good spell to get his energy where it needs to be.

Gotta get Garnett to look for his shot now. The Pistons have shot their energy wad, we've weathered the storm and now it's time to go to work. They're reaching, fouling. Gotta get the basketball to the rack for points.

Even if we lose by one point, if we lose it won't be because we missed one crappy free-throw.

Shaky start to Rondo, then Cassell came made a nice contribution... got a bit shaky toward the end, Rondo back on and did a great job with our offense in my opinion. Hope Rondo can keep it up.

Going inside to Perk should help, especially with the double team they are throwing at KG, and hopefully open up some of our shooters.

Let's take over the second half.

Man, that was the worst half of basketball that we've played all playoffs and we're only down by 4....... are you kidding me...... its a sign that we should end up winning this game if we just slightly play better.....

That last freethrow by Rondo that was waived off cause Eddie stepped inside the 3pt line during the shot scares me....... I hope it does cost us the game..... if it does, then that's just bad coaching from Doc.... another Doc blunder

how the hell is that doc's fault? that's just a ridiculous thing to say.

and agreed with bud, if we lose by 1 it's not down to that free throw.

OK what happens at the beginning of the 3rd?

The start of the first two quarters the Celts were whupped out of the gates and fought back.  So......

Do the Celts start strong?

or

Do the Pistons come out strong again?

If the Pistons come out strong, I do not think the Celts have it in them to continue to claw back.

On a night where NOTHING has gone right, we're only down 4 in Detroit.

We were never going to have a repeat performance of game 3. We just needed to keep it close. They won't come out with the same intensity in the second half, and that's when we've been making our move all season.

Well now, down by 4...Hmmm

Ugly enough, but coming out fast and furious in the 3rd will be where the bell tolls and quiets the 'troit fans till Booos rain down, as recently heard....

-LETS GO CELTICS-

Good & Ugly~
