My issue was that both he and Pierce got so few shots during the middle of the game that would be considered easy. Few shots created by other players for those two moving towards the hoop.
They were taking what the defense was giving to them. It was the ultimate "Ubuntu" game, because no one was "taking over", they were just moving the ball, and everyone was hitting their open shots and stepping up. If the other guys stop hitting their shots again (or Detroit adjusts to not pressure Pierce and Allen so much), expect Pierce and Allen to start trying to take the game over a little more.
I don't mean taking over.
It just seems that to many times, the shots created for those two were on the outside. Not enough cuts for them without the ball.
When they did cut, they were getting inside shots.
Just want to see more of that (especially for Ray who really fed off that in game 2)
