Doc needs to smack Rondo in the head.  All game he's been throwing these lob passes to everyone, and each time whoever is receiving the pass almost loses it.  For some reason that is his favorite pass today.

Sorry to be a downer on what looks like to be the first road win here.  Just these stupid passes are frustrating me.

My God are we ever going to get a call in the fourth quarter of any playoff game???

Oh come on man, the C's are usually bad in the fourth points-wise.

... but we might be seeing something away from the norm right now

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

rondo is absolutely useless against the trap. zone traps, man traps - he just doesn't get it. why teams don't take advantage of this is beyond me.

I don't think Detroit can play any worse than this. Only one starter showed up tonight. They missed a bunch of shots they usually nail. Wierd performance.

Good defensive effort. And good O when it counted. Forced Billups and Prince into bad shooting nights. They dont want Sheed--let alone Stucky- tobe the go to guy. If it hadnt been for the Rip parade (at the line) they'd really have been hurting.

Good win, lots of good things that we need in the first three quarters. Ball movement, great defense, rebounding on both ends. Really sound, intelligent game from Perkins on both ends of the floor.

But the last 14 minutes are so aren't going to get it done. We've got to quit playing the score, and Rondo's the biggest culprit. He's the point guard, and it's not acceptable for him to get lazy and stupid with the basketball on even ONE possession. He'll learn that, and hopefully tonight will push that learning process down the road.

I was really disappointed with the way he let the pace slow from the point in the second half. It took him WAY too long to get the basketball into the middle of the floor against that stupid trap. He'll get tested on that again early and often Monday night.

Great win but still a lot of work to be done.  I'll savor it for the next 24 hours, though.   ;D
