I still like our chances in this series.  The Pistons are NEVER ever going to shoot better than they did tonight.

Yeah, that's the thing to take away from this.  The Pistons shot as well as possible, and we still kept it very close.

We need a steal, somehow, some way.

I guess we will have to do our own gut checks and get behind our team when they need to go out to Detroit and take one.  Yeah I'm disappointed too, but these are our Celtics.

i fully expect a win at detroit. for some reason i feel better about tonight's loss than other losses in these playoffs. probably because detroit shot lights out and i don't see them doing this any time soon.

I repeat............

WOULD SOMEBODY GET THE FREAKIN REBOUND?!?!?!?!?!

Not clutch this game by any means.  The rebounds we HAVE to grab this game, we don't.  Ray finally starts to feel it and the one short jumper he HAS to make doesn't go.

Nice season everyone, cause lets face it...we ain't winning on the road.  And don't tell me "you gotta have faith" cause I had faith game 3, 4, and 6 against atlanta and game 3, 4, and 6 against cleveland.

If the Celtics can lose at home after going 9-0 they certainly have a chance to win on the road. That is the way I look at it.

I cannot overstate how the refs gave these Pistons a 10-point handicap to work with all night long.  Bull.

Sincerely, I don't understand how you can claim to root for a team while publicly proclaiming they're done for, in a 1-1 series.  Can you please explain this mindset to me?  Do you get off on pessimism or "I told you so"s or what?

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
For the Celtics they lost because of poor defense and poor rebounding. Bottle this feeling, take it to Detroit and make them feel it in game 3, and everyone will be counting the Pistons out. In all honesty I can say, I am not worried, I really think the C's will win one in Motown.

can't complain about the refs every loss. our defense looked absolutely lost on a few occasions. how the hell do you let billups walk in for that layup towards the end of the game?
