I think the Celtics realized when they attacked the basket in the beginning of the third quarter that it worked too well, and Detroit had no chance of playing against that style, so they decided to go back to playing Detroit's game. That's the only thing I can think of, Detroit adjusted, but the Celtics refuse to play the one style of basketball the Pistons have no hope against, even when they see first hand how well it works. They did the same thing against Cleveland, and they are doing it tonight, run and Detroit loses.

Flopperoo calls all going the Pistons way..

We're basically giving them this game.

We work hard to storm all the way back and now we're in a worse position than we were at the beginning of the 3rd.

We don't deserve to win this game with the way were playing.  Stupid plays, stupid decisions, stupid fouls, stupid turnovers...all happening while not playing good enough defense.

I think that run at the beginning of the second half was our final breath.  Looks like we're gonna HAVE to win on the road in this series and since I personally don't think we can win on the road, we have lost this series tonight.

Detroit's tough.

Quite the swing with Ray missing the 3 up 4 with all the momentum going our way.  They rattle of 3 3's and the Celts start playing goofball.

We've got another run in us.
Yup

Lot of time left on the clock.

Give Eddie some more burn and get back to giving Pierce and KG the ball to create.

I've seen nothing thus far to inspire confidence in the 4th.  They'll need to surprise us.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
P.J.
BBD
Posey
Pierce
Rondo

That is one hell of a lineup at a crucial time in this game.

Celtics have simply forgotten how to play basketball. Need to play smart.

Chanci Stuckey is D-Wade.

Whatever.

It was a great season. We are deader than Kelsey's nuts here.

Obviously, Ray Allen killed us but Rondo has been putrid.

This team can't play from behind.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.
