Rip to the line again ... what a shock! These guys are the East's version of the Spurs, with their whining and flopping!

Seriously, the single worst thing to happen to the NBA in the last 10 years isn't the bad/inconsistent officiating, which has always been around to some degree or another - it's players learning to take advantage of it by flopping/flailing/exaggerating contact.  I'm so sick of soccer play being rewarded by the refs, because it's just creating more of it.

Rotations are overrated.  Just let everybody play.

I agree

What I HATE about the Pistons, paricularly Billups, is how at least 50% of the time they aren't actually looking to score the ball, just looking to draw cheap fouls.  That's called gutless "lawyer-ball" on my court.

That's the result of all these "veteran calls."  The players are going to manufacture fouls because the incentives tell them that's what to do.  It isn't just the Pistons, Pierce isn't bad at it either; but at least he doesn't act too much, he does draw contact.

The sooner Tony is out of town, the better.  I can't stand him.

The refs suck tonight, but they're not the reason we're losing.  That has more to do with our offense, which outside of KG and Pierce, can't do anything.

Celtics are playing to lose right now, need to wake up, realize it's the Eastern Conference Finals and get in it.

Looks like we've taken the Pistons best shot, they're shooting lights out.  Time for us to get our mojo going in the second half.

Also, what is Tony Allen doing in this game?!?!?

  • You know my methods, Watson.
maybe hondo can suit up at halftime...

the offense is horrible tonight.  give detroit credit because they're playing solid defense, but doc better get the half-time adjustments ready or we're going to HAVE to win a road game...

Yup ... Tony's a waste, unfortunately ... he just can't get out of his own head. The Celts are not attacking or running, and there's no way they'll beat the Pistons in a half-court game. (Not to mention the rotation has been as squirrely as ever).

Need to improve our offense in the second half:

Ray? Rondo? Somebody has to stop being MIA.

Rondo has as many rebs as KG, PP, and Ray Allen combined. He's also the only one with any steals (2)

Three words for the Celtics in the second half, "Attack the basket!" Do it you win, don't you lose, I do not understand why the Celtics continually choose not to play their best basketball. They are making things way to easy for Detroit right now by playing such a slow half court set. The defense, as it always is, is fine, simply need to run on offense. The annoying thing is it's not a matter of executing, it's just a matter of playing the right way, Detroit desperately does not want to run, if you walk it up, you're letting them win.
